Jodi is a passionate innovator, relationship builder, revenue generator and connector. She is the former CEO of AceTech Ontario and the Founder of #MoveTheDial, a movement founded in January 2017 to advance women in tech. Just Say Hello is her joy project through which she teaches people how to build transformative business relationships. In November 2017, Jodi was recognized by the Women’s Executive Network as one of Canada’s top 100 most powerful women. Jodi is serving on the SickKids Foundation Capital Campaign Cabinet to raise $1.3B to transform children’s health and conceptualized and is leading the first-ever tech community strategy to raise $100M with a team of 25 tech leaders she has built, serves on the advisory board focused on revenue strategy & customer acquisition of Maple Corporation and Mediseen and another soon to be launched tech company in Toronto and is on Mayor John Tory’s Toronto Innovation Council and the leadership team for Elevate Toronto and will soon join Advisory Board for the Lazaridis Institute Scale Up Program in Waterloo.
Prior to working at AceTech Ontario, Jodi spent 5 years at Osler generating revenue, building an alumni program, creating an associate training program and coaching 450+ lawyers on BD strategy and relationship building. Prior to Osler, she spent five years practicing law and four years in leadership development at Scotiabank and at a scaling tech company pre-IPO. Jodi holds an HBA from Ivey and an LLB from Osgoode.
